Felicia Drury

Felicia Drury Kliment was an adjunct professor at the City College of the City University of New York where she taught courses in the Psychology of the Special Needs Child. Kliment then took a detour and wrote two popular books for McGraw-Hill about nutrition and diet. The best-seller “The Acid Alkaline Balance Diet” was published in 2002.

Kliment was also a nutritional columnist for The Amsterdam News, the most prominent black newspaper in the New York area. Kliment did research on how the philosophy of yin (acid) and yang (alkaline) became the basis of Chinese medicine. The results were incorporated in a series of papers published in the International Journal of Comparative Religion and Philosophy.
